SkipperWalking Holidays
This is possibly the most ancient of the once inhabited islands. Having landed on the shingle beach, we walked westwards up the grassy slopes and all around us there is evidence of ancient religious remains. Two chapels are the most obvious but there are carved grave stones, some standing and others part hidden in the grass. Rock carvings may be found in a number of places and every year there is an annual pilgrimage to this island. A very special and very private place.
